Her new novel, Road Ends, just
published in the UK is already receiving
enthusiastic reviews. The Toronto Star reviewer wrote:
“Like all great
writers — and Lawson is among the finest — she tells her story
in a deceptively simple and straightforward way, but one that
resonates with anyone who has ever struggled with doing the
right thing by a family member despite a desperate longing to
escape that burden.”
So we are
delighted that Mary Lawson has agreed to spend the evening with
us to talk about her work and to sign copies of her books.
