Our Privacy Policy
People who visit a web site often are concerned about their privacy. We are concerned about your privacy, too.
Our position is simple: We won't compromise (let alone invade) your privacy.
Primrose Hill Books does not collect email addresses or other relevant information from visitors to its site except when a visitor explicitly asks for us to accept and retain that information. If you tell us you want to receive our newsletter, The Bindery, we ask you for contact information. Similarly, we record the information you provide when you place a special offer or book tickets for an event. If you want us to expunge any records you've provided, just ask. We do not leave cookies on your computer or use other invasive technologies.
Like any other business, we keep on file information about parties who correspond with the firm as a normal part of our effort to maintain complete and accurate records. This information is preserved offline. It is kept strictly for the use of Primrose Hill Books and is not sold, rented, or otherwise disseminated to outside parties, nor is it used to provide any kind of commercial mass emailing service.
In cases where this web site has links to other web sites, including our online purchasing facility and our used book shop, visitors exercising those links must turn to those linked sites to determine what, if any, privacy policies prevail at the linked sites.
We will post on this site any updates to our privacy policy.
This privacy policy page was last updated on 1 October 2007.
