Special Orders

There will always be titles which we do not hold in stock, but you can still get just about any book in print and many that are out of print from our shop.  We operate a fast customer order service.  We are happy to order any book in print in the UK or USA for you, we'll try to locate books published elsewhere, and we can often locate books that are not currently in print.  We have excellent relations with publishers and distributors.  Consequently, we can get many titles in 24 to 48 hours.  It comes down to this:  If you want a book, ask us.  We'll do our best to get it pronto.

Your Place Or Ours?

We'll keep you informed about the status of your order.  We'll let you know when we expect to receive the books you've ordered.  We'll tell you when they're in hand.  And once we get the books, we can hold them for pickup or mail them anywhere in the world.

How To Place Your Order

We're happy for you to come in to place an order in person, or for you to phone.  But it might be more convenient to use our form.  However you prefer to place your order, please be prepared to give us as much information as you have about the books you want, such as Author, Title, Publisher and Format (i.e., paperback or hardback).  Tell us how to reach you and whether you want us to hold the books or ship them.  If you want us to ship the books, we will need complete delivery information.
